Horses have always symbolized power, but we are just beginning to realize the power they hold to teach us about ourselves and our relationship to the world around us. Because they are experts at reading body language, they give us instant, unbiased feedback on our relationship skills and the hidden emotions that control our behavior. This live feedback has far more impact than a written model and provides opportunities to practice what we need to change. Horses provide an environment of constantly changing and evolving experiences. They put everyone on an even playing field so you can feel free to participate to the fullest. As social animals, they provide valuable insight into group dynamics and roles. Horses challenge humans to get out of their heads and listen to their instincts. Developing an intuitive sensitivity that interprets nonverbal input instantaneously and accurately gives us an ability to understand what is going on with another being and interpret their unspoken communications.

Franklin Levinson's mission is to enhance and enrich the horse/human relationship wherever and whenever possible by teaching humans how to compassionately and effectively interact with their horses.

During the clinic, one-on-one work with each participant in your area of interest as well as question and answer periods will be available. On the ground and saddled up you will learn to develop leadership and trust with your horse in areas of your interest. Centered, balanced riding will be covered, as well as bridle-less for those who are ready to move to this level of trust and cooperation with your horse.
